Breaking Down the Finance Essay Writing Task into Parts
The finance essay is different from other essays in the sense that it deals with a complex and specialised subject area: finance. Most students have a hard time expressing cash flow and liquidity through their finance essays. Since most of the lessons in finance involve more quantitative data, students encounter difficulty in the process of translating them into written speech.
There is a way, however, for students to make their finance essay writing task more bearable and this is achieved by properly scheduling the time given to finish their finance essays into a list of several minor tasks to accomplish. By using this technique, they are more than assured to cover all possible elements of their finance essay one at a time.
Preparing the finance essay outline – this task allows the students to list the main ideas they wish to impart in their finance essays in accordance with the topic their professors have assigned them. This also includes the list of main supporting points they want to include in their finance essays.
Conducting research – this stage allows them to focus on acquiring significant information they might need for their finance essay, as detailed by their own outline. This task also includes listing down the sources of every piece of information they find interesting to make sure that they have properly referenced their finance essays.
Writing the finance essay draft – this includes adding more details—this time with the research notes they have accumulated—on the finance essay outline they have written.
Revising the finance essay draft – this is where students take time to evaluate their finance essay in terms of content, organisation of ideas and other basic elements such as grammar, spelling, punctuation and capitalisation.
Completing the final essay draft – involves the rewriting of the finance essay draft after revisions have been done. This will be the final finance essay copy that the students will submit to their professors.
